Refunds Policy Australia Backup OLD

We want you to be 100% happy with your purchase from Beach Life Australia and sincerely hope you love every piece you purchased!

However, if you are not completely satisfied with your order, we will refund for any item that you return to us in re-saleable condition within 14 days of receipt.

Shipping to you on orders above $99 is paid by us. 

Free Returns for full-price swimwear and other clothing items within Australia,  when you keep an item. Therefore order your desired styles, colours and sizes today, try them on in the privacy of your home and send the styles and sizes you don't like or don't fit back for a refund. 

If you don't like paying for items upfront and hate waiting for refunds, why not try paying with our Shop Now, Pay Later partners Zippay (you choose to pay over a 1, 3 or 6 months period or set your own payment schedule) or Afterpay (4 equal instalments over a 8 week period)?

Where all items in an order are returned, Beach Life Australia unfortunately has to deduct a return shipping fee of $9.90 from your refund to cover the cost of the return shipping, except where:

For beach accessories, sale/ discounted items and for orders outside of Australia we kindly ask the buyer to arrange tracked return shipping.

Refund Policy International orders
If your order is above a certain amount we will pay for shipping to you, please refer to our Shipping Policy for thresholds and prices.

You are entitled to a refund for any item you buy from us (we will deduct only shipping costs)  if you are not happy for whatever reason, same as our Australian customers. 
For Returns of orders outside of Australia we kindly ask the buyer to arrange tracked return shipping back to Australia.

Please familiarise yourself with the customs regulations in your country so you don't get an unexpected customs or import tax bill with your awesome swimmers from Australia :-) We are pretty informed about customs especially to Europe so don't hesitate to contact us on, we are happy to help!

Returns Conditions
All items must be tried on wearing undergarments and the protective hygiene strip must remain in place.

Before returning an item to us please check the following:
- for swimwear the hygiene strip must be in place
- original condition, unworn and unwashed 
- unsoiled and no make-up or deodorant stains
- all tags attached
- within 14 days of receipt

Please understand that we cannot accept any return items not adhering to the above and we have to send items which have been worn back to you at your expense. 

We want you to enjoy your replacement swimwear as soon as possible as we know you have no time to waste to finally get into your right size swimsuit!

Therefore we no longer offer traditional exchanges where you have to wait for your item to arrive back with us and then the delivery of the exchange items. 

If you would like to exchange a swimwear or clothing item, simply place a new order for your exchange item and send us an email at to request a FREE Return Shipping label for the items you would like to return. We will pick up the tab for the shipping!

Faulty items
In the unlikely event that you receive an item that is faulty or damaged please contact us within 7 days of receiving and we will organise a replacement for you as soon as possible.
Faulty items must adhere to the same returns conditions as above. 
If a replacement is unavailable you may choose another suitable item or we are happy to refund.

Returns on Sale & Discounted Items
Yes, we offer Returns and Exchanges on Sale & Discounted items!

For sale & discounted items we kindly ask the buyer to arrange tracked return shipping.

Same conditions apply:
- for swimwear the hygiene strip must be in place
- original condition, unworn and unwashed 
- unsoiled and no make-up or deodorant stains
- all tags attached
- within 14 days of receipt


Cancellation of an order
You can cancel your order without any reason for a full refund before we dispatch your order. 
Once we have dispatched your order you cannot cancel the order for obvious reasons any more, however you can return the item in line with our returns policy.
If you choose to not accept delivery, any return shipping by the courier is at your risk and we will refund the cost of the article(s) once they arrive safely back in our warehouse. 

How to Return

1. Ensure all tags are intact and items are unworn as per the conditions above

2. Contact Beach Life Australia via email at and notify us about your intended return including the following information:
- Your name
- Order number
- Style number and Size you wish to return
- optional: we would love to find out why you are not happy, please let us know
We will issue you with a Returns Number, and if you are returning swimwear in Australia, we will supply you with a tracked shipping label that you can simply drop off at the next post box or post office (if you prefer to get a receipt, the Post office staff will be happy to do so on request). 

3. Pack the item into appropriate packaging (you can re-use the bag your item was delivered in), include the Returns number and send it tracked back to us:

If you are eligible for a pre-paid, tracked return label from us then tracking is already organised for you and you can drop off at the next post box or at the post office (if you prefer to get a receipt, the Post office staff will be happy to do so on request). 

If you decide to organise your own or are return discounted items or accessories, for security and piece of mind, we recommend that you use insured, tracked post to ensure safe and documented delivery. 
It is your responsibility to return the goods by tracked post and to obtain proof that the goods have been shipped.
Beach Life Australia is not liable for any lost returned items.
Please hold onto your tracking number once you have posted the return/ exchange.

If goods are returned from outside Australia please mark the package as "Returned Goods" to avoid a hold up/ duties at Customs.

4. Once we receive the items we will thoroughly check them and if all ok, immediately issue a refund of the product price directly to the Credit Card, Paypal, Zippay or Afterpay Account which was used in the original purchase.
Please allow appropriate time (this can be as quick as 2 days but for foreign transactions as long as 10 days)  for the refund to show up in your account before checking with us. 
You will receive an email notification as soon as your refund has been processed.
